   TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS:
  • River Level: Normal
  • Water Temp: mid 80's °F
  • Water Clarity: Muddy / Stained
  • Weather:  59 - 83°F Very foggy in the Morning then Mostly Sunny
  • Wind: 5 - 10mph 

     Sometimes, on those days with what seems to be the perfect weather, it can be tough to get those finicky ole' bass to bite.  And, Saturday was a great example.  With the summer weather coming to a close, the Hog Hunters Tournament Trail made its way to the 3 Forks Harbor for it's 6th tournament of the regular season.  Early morning fog made it difficult to run in the morning and inhibited many anglers for getting that early morning bite.  But...  Not everyone.  

    First Place honors were awarded to the team of Brad Renshaw and Ryan Renshaw for their solid limit which tipped the scales at just of 15lbs (15.26lbs to be exact).  Greg Cook and Bob Powell captured Second Place with a good limit weighing 12.45lbs.  And, Third Place was awarded to the team of Harold Harrell and Jimmy Holmes for their fish weighing 11.86lbs.  Harold and Jimmy also captured 2nd place BB for their 3.97lb anchor fish.

Congratulations to all teams mentioned above.  Way to go!!

Our next tourney is on the Grand Lake on September 24.  Until then, good fishin'...
