  • River Level: +3 ft above normal pool - 635ft
  • Water Temp: 55-62°F
  • Water Clarity: Clear / Stained
  • Weather:  55 - 67°F Partly cloudy and warm in the afternoon
  • Wind: slight breeze (morning) & 10 - 15mph constant (afternoon)

     After an initial bust on Grand Lake the Hog Hunters field was chomping at the bit to get out on the water.  And, such was definitely evident by the solid sacks brought in this weekend.  After an extended season of winter, Saturday proved itself to be one of those perfect days for fishin'.  The skies were clear and the weather was beautiful.  What a great day to hit the lake and enjoy God's creation... 

     Congratulations are due to our Lake Tenkiller Champions, Kyle James & Dennis James, for bringing in a huge sack of smallies weighing 18.79 lbs.  Their biggest of these five beautiful fish came in at just shy of 5 lbs (4.84 lbs).  What a lunker small mouth.  Great Job Gentlemen!!  Just over two pounds out of first was the team of Scot Sawyer & Shawn Atwell.  Having a good day themselves, Sawyer and Atwell laid claim to second place with a 5 fish limit of 16.10 lbs.  Finally, Third Place was awarded to the team of Bud Guthrie and Dexter Woods for their limit weighing 14.84 lbs.  Great Job & Good Fishin' Gentlemen!!

     The title of Big Bass was awarded to Johnny & John Woods for their Largemouth weighing just under 6lbs (5.95 lbs).  And, 2nd Big Bass went to the team of Carl Holmes and Steve Smith for their Largemouth at 5.65 lbs.  Again...  Great showing! 

      Congratulations to all those mentioned above, and to everyone who fished for making this a fantastic tournament.  Looking forward now to a great year in 2010, and a fun tournament on Hudson in 1 week!
