   TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS:
  • River Level: +1 ft above normal pool - 620ft
  • Water Temp: 62 - 67°F
  • Water Clarity: Clear / Stained
  • Weather:  60 - 70°F Mostly cloudy with rain showers off and on all day long
  • Wind: 5 - 10mph 

     Slight Breeze, warm weather, lake level up slightly, and clouds all day with the occasional sprinkle...  All such things combined should make for a great toperwater day right?  Nope.  Seemingly, the big fish came this weekend on jigs.  And, many there were.  The Hog Hunters 3rd Tournament at Hudson proved to be a great day for many of our anglers.   

     Congratulations are due to our Hudson Champions, Brad & Ryan Renshaw, for bringing in a huge limit tipping the scales at 18.78 lbs.  These two also boated the biggest bass of the tournament which weighed 5.18 lbs. What a great limit and what a wonderful day this proved to be for Renshaw and Renshaw!  Not far behind our first place team was Kyle James & Dennis James, Team# 34.  James and James captured Second Place with another solid limit weighing 18.23 lbs.  Next in line, was the 2009 Hog Hunters Anglers of the Years, Eric Rosser & Joel Clark.  Rosser & Clark brought 17.17lbs to the scales along with the 2nd Place Big Bass of the tournament which weighed 5.17lbs.  Great Job & Good Fishin' Gentlemen!!

      Congratulations to all those mentioned above, and to everyone who fished for making this a fantastic tournament.  Next up on the Hog Hunters schedule we've got Ft. Gibson.  Should be exciting!
