  • Wind: 10 - 15mph  w/ 20mph Gusts

     Tough Day at Ft Gibson for the Hog Hunters Tournament Trail.  Smack dab in the middle of a otherwise great year at Gibson for bass anglers this Saturday's tournament was difficult on just about everybody.  But, hey that's fishing...

     Congratulations are due to our Ft Gibson Champions, Wayne Copeland & Devon Bristol, for overcoming the weather and the finicky bass.  Notably, Copeland and Bristol brought 15.50 lbs to the scales.  The Second Place prize wend to the team of Tracy Carroll and Joel Baker with a five fish limit weighing in at 14.17lbs.  Next in line, was the team of Chris Strickland and Steve Genzel with a total weight of 11.86 lbs.  Good Fishin Guys! 

     Big Bass Honors went to the team of Harold Harrell and Jimmy Holmes for their toad which weighed 5.95 lbs.  Second Place Big Bass went to Jeff Clark and Brannon Thompson for their 4.67 lb largemouth.

      Congratulations to all those mentioned above, and to everyone who fished  Next up on the Hog Hunters schedule is Eufaula.  Looking forward to it.
