  • Lake Level: +1.5 ft above normal pool - 557ft
  • Water Temp: 84 - 87°F
  • Water Clarity: Stained / Merky
  • Weather:  86 - 97°F Mostly sunny & Windy in the afternoon
  • Wind: 10 - 15mph Gusty

     It was a hot one on Eufaula for Hog Hunter's 5th Tournament of the year.  And, it turned out to be a good day fishin' as well.  Early morning bite was likely the ticket...  But, our day was tough...  So you'll have to ask our winners to find out the hot spots and the special bait.

    First Place honors were awarded to the team of Scot Sawyer and Shawn Atwell for their huge limit tipping the scales at nearly 19lbs (18.74lbs to be exact).  Scot and Shawn also captured 2nd place big bass for their 5.46lb toad.  Great Job Gentlemen!!  We're all anxious to hear how you caught-em.  Second Place was taken by the team of Matt Jackson and Bo Byers for their solid limit weighing 14.83lbs... with a 7.67lb kicker for Big Bass.  What a fish!!  And, it is important to note that this bass is in the lead for Big Bass of the Year bragging rights.

   Third Place was the team of Jeff Clark and Brannon Thompson.  They also came to the scales with a respectable limit weighing in at 14.55lbs. 

 

Congratulations to all teams mentioned above.  Way to brave the heat and pull out a great day of fishing.   

 

Our next tourney is on the Nav. Channel in September.  It should be prime time for fishing the river, and I'm expecting a great turnout.  Untill then, good fishin...
