   TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS:
  • River Level: +2 ft above normal pool - 621ft
  • Water Temp: 80-85°F
  • Water Clarity: Clear / Stained
  • Weather:  60 - 85°F Mostly Sunny and Chilly in the Morning
  • Wind: Slight North breeze 

     Three Fish Limit and 1:30pm Weigh-In time... That doesn't phase this club.  During the hottest month(s) of the year the GRDA has limited the length of tournaments and the amount of fish that can be brought in by each team.  But such didn't affect our anglers, instead I think that everyone fished a little harder to get that one big bite.  Plus, the heat was within our Angler Of The Year Race.  There were at least 4 teams in the hunt for that No. 1 spot and a free year's entry fees for the 2010 season. 

     Congratulations goes to our Hudson Champions, Eric Rosser and Joel Clark, for bringing in a solid limit of fish weighing 9.59 lbs.  This team also took the 2nd big bass award for their 4.53lb toad of a black bass.  Eric and Joel's performance this year has been nothing short of spectacular.  They've captured 1st place in 3 out of the 7 regular season tournaments and have been in the top 10 in 3 out of the remaining 4 tournaments.  Team consistency is their name and because of this Eric and Joel have claimed our season long Anglers Of The Year award.  In addition they now get bragging rights (and free entry fees) for all of next year.  Congratulations again... You deserve it.   

     Less than a pound out of first was the team of Ken Hathcock and Tony Sheldon.  Hathcock and Sheldon laid claim to the second place money with a 3 fish limit of 8.78 lbs.  Right on their heals was the team of Gary Stepp and Mike Dause who placed third with their 3 fish limit weighing 8.62 lbs.  Gary and Mike were our 2009 Runner-Ups for the Anglers Of The Year Award.   Great Job Guys!

     Congratulations to all those mentioned above, and to everyone who fished for this season for making it allot of fun for all.
