The weather and the fishing were great this year on Sardis.  Just ask Chad aka "Goose" and Todd Foster! They came to the scales with five fish weighing in at 15.12 lbs.  This secured them firmly in First Place for the tournament, and moved them into First Place in the Angler of the Year race.  Second Place was captured by Gary Stepp and Mike Dause with a limit of fish weighing 13.63 lbs.  Gary and Mike also received the Big Bass award with a 5.81 lbs large mouth.  What a fish!  Third place went to the team of Jeremy and Matt Whittiker  with a five fish limit weighing in at 10.14 lbs. 

   The water color on Saturday was stained and surface temps ranged between 60 - 70°F.  Thus, conditions were prime for the spawn.  This was encouraging to all anglers; yet it was still difficult to get them biggins to bite.  Congratulations to our winners!

      The Next tournament will be May 17th on Grand. We anticipate some BIG sacks at this one, which are typical down there this time of the year. The pre-tournament meeting will be at Bass Pro Shop at 7:00PM on May 14th. See you there!
