      Saturday on "the Ditch" the bass bite was hard to find.  Notably, the high and dirty water made fishin tough.  To top it all off there was little breeze and the sun was holding high in the sky all day long.  With these conditions one would instinctively think to fish the brush.  However, for some the bass just seemed to have a case of the lock-jaw.  Yet for others, such as this event's tournament winners, a limit of fish came easy. 

    Congratulations goes out to all the teams that managed to bring in solid limits of fish.  Especially Roger Hughes and his sub-partner who claimed first place with a total weight of 12.96 lbs.  Eric Rosser and Joel Clark received second place with five fish weighing in a 11.91 lbs.  Jeff Bias and Chuck Holmes won third a limit of fish that weighed in at 11.76 lbs .  Big Bass Honors went to the team of Chet Burrows and Shawn Marlow for their 3.64 lbs large mouth.  Great Job Gentlemen!

    The water color for Saturday's tournament was muddy on the main channel and murky at best towards the back ends of the oxbows.  Surface temps ranged between 70 - 80°F. 

     Our next tournament will be our end of the year classic at two unknown lakes held on October 4th and 5th.  The pre-tournament meeting at Exterran in Broken Arrow at 7:00PM on Oct 1st.  Hope to see you there!
