Fort Gibson Lake

Stormy, Stormy! Awesome summer time weather! Gibson is still showing signs of returning life. 11 teams blanked, 11 DNF, 30 teams weighed fish. 2.47 was the average weight per fish. Total of 67 fish equaling 166 lbs caught for the tournament. As for now the top three for the classic are Fort Gibson twice & Grand. We voted prior to this event to make our limit 4 fish. We did this to try to help keep fish mortality down. We only had 2 dead fish and I noticed a lot of guys using Bassmedics & please release me to help with fish rejuv. Keep up the good work and I will see you guys @ our next meeting (Broken Arrow Lib.).

1st place picture was not taken. They where one of the first teams that weighed in and I was not ready. I apologize and Congrad's on you victory! Also this was a 4 fish limit tournament to help low fish mortality chances. Want to say thanks to the club for really trying to take care of the fish! Thanks, Opie
